Bed nights in paid accommodation

Bed nights in registered accommodation increased two percent

In June 2023, 30,300 bed nights were registered in Faxe (+2.0 %), of which 27,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,900 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased four percent and foreign bed nights decreased 12 percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation increased two percent from last year's June.

1,000 nights (-38.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 690 nights (-15.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 96,700 registered bed nights (+7.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,200 (-10.1 %) for foreigners in Faxe, in total 103,000 (+6.3 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.7 percent

Total of 4.3 million bed nights in registered accommodation (-1.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.6 million nights (-6.5 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+7.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Faxe out of total registered bed nights in Denmark was 0.7 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.0 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.
