Bed nights in paid accommodation

Bed nights in registered accommodation increased 21 percent

In August 2023, 1,700 bed nights were registered in Hedemora (+21.2 %), of which 1,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 95 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and foreign bed nights decreased eight percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation increased 21 percent from last year's August.

790 rooms (+141.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 320 rooms (-19.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 8,100 registered bed nights (-9.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 640 (-29.6 %) for foreigners in Hedemora, in total 8,700 (-11.0 %) registered nights.
