33,500 registered bed nights

In March 2023, 33,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Hjørring (-9.1 %), of which 27,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased six percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 20 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased nine percent from last year's March.

21,500 nights (-11.2 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,500 nights (+28.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 81,100 registered bed nights (+5.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 11,900 (-1.5 %) for foreigners in Hjørring, in total 93,100 (+4.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.9 million registered bed nights (+7.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.3 million nights (+0.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 595,000 nights (+26.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hjørring out of total registered bed nights was 1.7 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 2.0 % and foreign bed nights 1.0 %.
