Bed nights in paid accommodation

15,900 bed nights in registered accommodation

In August 2023, 15,900 bed nights were registered in Höör (-12.2 %), of which 10,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,800 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 28 percent and foreign bed nights increased 42 percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation decreased 12 percent from last year's August.

3,400 rooms (+32.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 500 rooms (-60.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 67,800 registered bed nights (-9.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 19,300 (+23.7 %) for foreigners in Höör, in total 87,100 (-3.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 8.4 million bed nights in registered accommodation (-5.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.9 million nights (-9.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.5 million nights (+6.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Höör out of total registered bed nights in Sweden was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay was 1.9 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 10 percent compared to earlier year. In Höör, length of stay in August was on average 1.9 nights (-9.6 %) and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-0.3 %).

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Höör on average 1.8 nights (-11.3 %) and foreigners 2.1 nights (-9.9 %).

8,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 65.8 percent were domestic, and 34.2 percent were from foreign countries.
