Bed nights in paid accommodation
31,200 bed nights in registered accommodation
In August 2023, 31,200 bed nights were registered in Innherred (-3.3 %), of which 25,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,700 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased two percent and foreign bed nights decreased nine percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation decreased three percent from last year's August.
8,300 nights (-6.2 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 7,400 nights (+9.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 143,000 registered bed nights (+2.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 28,800 (+8.0 %) for foreigners in Innherred, in total 172,000 (+3.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, camping sites, short-term holiday dwellings and youth hostels. Holiday dwellings refer to self-catering huts/rooms with limited service.

Length of stay increased one percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. In Innherred, length of stay in August was on average 1.7 nights (+0.7 %) and in Norway 1.9 nights (-4.4 %).
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Innherred on average 1.8 nights (+0.1 %) and foreigners 1.5 nights (+1.5 %).
18,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased four percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 79.0 percent were domestic, and 21.0 percent were from foreign countries.
