Registered bed nights increased 38 percent

In January 2023, 4,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Kalundborg (+38.4 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 460 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 41 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 19 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 38 percent from last year's January.

350 nights (-13.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,300 nights (-1.8 %) by business visitors.

Total of 1.4 million registered bed nights (+73.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 925,000 nights (+53.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 434,000 nights (+139.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Kalundborg out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.
