Bed nights in paid accommodation

11,800 bed nights in registered accommodation

In June 2023, 11,800 bed nights were registered in Katrineholm (-17.0 %), of which 11,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 730 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 17 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 22 percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation decreased 17 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (300 nights).

1,600 rooms (-31.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-18.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 37,700 registered bed nights (-7.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,500 (-34.3 %) for foreigners in Katrineholm, in total 39,200 (-9.1 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 2.0 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 31 percent compared to earlier year. In Katrineholm, length of stay in June was on average 2.0 nights (-31.4 %) and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-0.1 %).
