3,700 registered bed nights

In March 2023, 3,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Lessebo (-1.7 %), of which 3,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2.0 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased two percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 78 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased two percent from last year's March.

1,500 rooms (+2.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 950 rooms (-8.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 10,400 registered bed nights (+11.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 26 (+116.7 %) for foreigners in Lessebo, in total 10,400 (+11.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.9 million registered bed nights (+4.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.2 million nights (+2.6 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 747,000 nights (+15.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lessebo out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased four percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased four percent compared to earlier year. In Lessebo, length of stay in March was on average 1.4 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-6.3 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lessebo on average 1.4 nights (+1.9 %) and foreigners 1.0 nights (-3.7 %).

2,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased five percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.9 percent were domestic, and 0.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lessebo on average 1.4 nights (+0.05) and foreigners 1.0 nights (-0.8).
