Registered bed nights increased 12 percent

In January 2023, 12,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Ljusdal (+11.6 %), of which 12,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 610 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased nine percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 91 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 12 percent from last year's January.

2,500 rooms (-12.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,300 rooms (+263.9 %) by business visitors.

Market share 0.4 percent

Total of 3.2 million registered bed nights (+36.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.5 million nights (+31.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 640,000 nights (+60.4 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ljusdal out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

4,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.8 percent were domestic, and 2.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ljusdal on average 2.6 nights (-0.68) and foreigners 5.7 nights (+3.5).
