Bed nights in paid accommodation
Bed nights in registered accommodation increased six percent
In August 2023, 45,900 bed nights were registered in Nacka (+5.7 %), of which 32,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 13,500 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased less than one percent and foreign bed nights increased 23 percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation increased six percent from last year's August.
16,200 rooms (+22.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 11,500 rooms (-10.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 222,000 registered bed nights (+8.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 70,600 (+34.4 %) for foreigners in Nacka, in total 293,000 (+14.1 %) registered nights.
Registered accommodation statistics include hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay was 1.5 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 10 percent compared to earlier year. In Nacka, length of stay in August was on average 1.5 nights (-9.6 %) and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-0.3 %).
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.4 nights (-10.2 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-13.4 %).
29,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 17 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 77.8 percent were domestic, and 22.2 percent were from foreign countries.
