Bed nights in paid accommodation
3,000 bed nights in registered accommodation
In August 2023, 3,000 bed nights were registered in Norsjö (-35.7 %), of which 2,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 860 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 32 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 43 percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation decreased 36 percent from last year's August.
172 rooms (-32.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 149 rooms (-19.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 10,900 registered bed nights (-35.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,500 (-35.9 %) for foreigners in Norsjö, in total 15,400 (-35.6 %) registered nights.
Registered accommodation statistics include hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased eight percent compared to earlier year. In Norsjö, length of stay in August was on average 2.2 nights (-7.9 %) and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-0.3 %).
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norsjö on average 2.2 nights (-8.4 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-6.3 %).
