Registered bed nights increased 52 percent

In January 2023, 52,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Örebro County (+52.1 %), of which 47,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 48 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 110 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 52 percent from last year's January.

12,700 rooms (+74.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 21,800 rooms (+80.2 %) by business visitors.

Market share 1.7 percent

Total of 3.2 million registered bed nights (+36.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.5 million nights (+31.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 640,000 nights (+60.4 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Örebro County out of total registered bed nights was 1.7 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.9 % and foreign bed nights 0.8 %.

32,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 61 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.4 percent were domestic, and 7.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Örebro County on average 1.6 nights (-0.11) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.01).
