Registered bed nights increased 54 percent

In January 2023, 35,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Örebro (+53.7 %), of which 32,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 50 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 102 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 54 percent from last year's January.

8,500 rooms (+69.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 14,200 rooms (+75.1 %) by business visitors.

Market share 1.1 percent

Total of 3.2 million registered bed nights (+36.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.5 million nights (+31.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 640,000 nights (+60.4 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Örebro out of total registered bed nights was 1.1 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

23,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 70 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.4 percent were domestic, and 8.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Örebro on average 1.5 nights (-0.17) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-0.06).
