In August 2023, 52,500 bed nights were registered in Simrishamn (-7.4 %), of which 39,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 12,600 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 15 percent and foreign bed nights increased 32 percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation decreased seven percent from last year's August.
9,600 rooms (-8.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+31.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 198,000 registered bed nights (-6.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 38,500 (+41.4 %) for foreigners in Simrishamn, in total 237,000 (-1.1 %) registered nights.
