Registered bed nights increased 48 percent

In January 2023, 3,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Simrishamn (+47.5 %), of which 3,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 310 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 46 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 69 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 48 percent from last year's January.

1,000 rooms (+73.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 560 rooms (+84.8 %) by business visitors.

Total of 3.2 million registered bed nights (+36.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.5 million nights (+31.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 640,000 nights (+60.4 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Simrishamn out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 82 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.2 percent were domestic, and 9.8 percent were from foreign countries.
