Registered bed nights increased 27 percent

In January 2023, 4,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Skanderborg (+26.7 %), of which 4,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 210 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 25 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 73 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 27 percent from last year's January.

1,300 nights (+17.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,600 nights (+16.9 %) by business visitors.

Total of 1.4 million registered bed nights (+73.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 925,000 nights (+53.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 434,000 nights (+139.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Skanderborg out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.
