In July 2024, 181,000 bed nights were registered in Tampere (+0.0 %), of which 162,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 18,800 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased less than one percent and foreign bed nights decreased four percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation increased less than one percent from last year's July.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Sweden (2,200 nights).
152,000 nights (+4.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 29,500 nights (-18.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and July, 714,000 registered bed nights (-3.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 89,900 (-22.6 %) for foreigners in Tampere, in total 804,000 (-5.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.
