Registered bed nights increased eight percent (September 2022)

In September 2022, 1,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Tierp (+8.0 %), of which 1,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 62 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights increased five percent. In total, registered bed nights increased eight percent from last year's September.

127 rooms (-34.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 540 rooms (+35.4 %) by business visitors.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 23 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.8 percent were domestic, and 6.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tierp on average 2.4 nights (+0.75) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-0.55).
