In January 2023, 12,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Torsby (-9.5 %), of which 9,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 21 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 136 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 10 percent from last year's January.

2,200 rooms (+18.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 970 rooms (+205.6 %) by business visitors.

Total of 3.2 million registered bed nights (+36.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.5 million nights (+31.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 640,000 nights (+60.4 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Torsby out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

3,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 23 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 82.1 percent were domestic, and 17.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Torsby on average 3.1 nights (-1.2) and foreigners 3.3 nights (-0.47).
