16,900 registered bed nights (February)

In February 2021, 16,900 bed nights were recorded in Pyhä-Luosto (-25.6 %), of which 16,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 880 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 21 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 91 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 26 percent from last year's February.

15,800 nights (-23.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,100 nights (-48.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 29,900 bed nights (+33.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (-93.9 %) for foreigners in Pyhä-Luosto, in total 31,100 (-24.1 %) nights.

Total of 902,000 bed nights (-51.3 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 842,000 nights (-32.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 59,500 nights (-90.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Pyhä-Luosto out of total bed nights was 1.9 % (+0.6 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.9 % and foreign bed nights 1.5 %.

3,200 tourists arrived to accommodation (February)

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 41 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 98.5 percent were domestic, and 1.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Pyhä-Luosto on average 5.1 nights (+0.67) and foreigners 18 nights (+14).
