Pyhä-Luosto: Tourism in a nutshell
5,200 registered bed nights
In July 2020, 5,200 bed nights were recorded in Pyhä-Luosto (-55.9 %), of which 4,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 240 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 39 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 93 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 56 percent from last year's July.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Romania (78 nights).
4,700 nights (-57.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 470 nights (-23.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and July, 47,400 bed nights (-26.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 23,600 (-48.5 %) for foreigners in Pyhä-Luosto, in total 71,000 (-35.5 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 68 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 95.4 percent were domestic, and 4.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Pyhä-Luosto on average 2.6 nights (-0.04) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+1.5).
