Registered bed nights increased 42 percent
In September 2020, 17,500 bed nights were recorded in Pyhä-Luosto (+41.6 %), of which 17,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 109 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 49 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 85 percent. In total, bed nights increased 42 percent from last year's September.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Sweden (39 nights).
15,800 nights (+40.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,800 nights (+52.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 68,400 bed nights (-19.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 23,900 (-51.5 %) for foreigners in Pyhä-Luosto, in total 92,300 (-31.3 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 49 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 99.5 percent were domestic, and 0.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Pyhä-Luosto on average 2.7 nights (-0.23) and foreigners 3.3 nights (+1.5).
