Registered bed nights increased two percent
In December 2022, 34,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Pyhä-Luosto (+2.2 %), of which 10,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 23,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased nine percent. In total, registered bed nights increased two percent from last year's December.
32,600 nights (+3.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,500 nights (-20.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 135,000 registered bed nights (-9.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 67,800 (+150.2 %) for foreigners in Pyhä-Luosto, in total 203,000 (+15.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 27.7 percent were domestic, and 72.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Pyhä-Luosto on average 3.8 nights (+0.13) and foreigners 3.4 nights (+0.03).
