In December 2019, 1,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Raahe Region (-14.6 %), of which 910 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 320 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 17 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased eight percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 15 percent from last year's December.
290 nights (+5.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 940 nights (-19.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 21,300 registered bed nights (+2.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,600 (+20.8 %) for foreigners in Raahe Region, in total 27,700 (+5.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.9 percent were domestic, and 11.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raahe Region on average 1.6 nights (-0.17) and foreigners 4.5 nights (+2.0).
