In June 2020, 2,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Raahe Region (-10.9 %), of which 1,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 380 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 10 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 11 percent from last year's June.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (166 nights).
490 nights (-43.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,800 nights (+5.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 6,000 registered bed nights (-28.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,300 (-53.0 %) for foreigners in Raahe Region, in total 7,300 (-33.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 22 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.5 percent were domestic, and 6.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raahe Region on average 1.6 nights (+0.12) and foreigners 4.6 nights (+2.4).
