In October 2020, 1,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Raahe Region (-16.6 %), of which 1,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 560 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased nine percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 31 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 17 percent from last year's October.
390 nights (+1.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,500 nights (-20.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and October, 16,400 registered bed nights (-12.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,200 (-21.0 %) for foreigners in Raahe Region, in total 20,700 (-13.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 21 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 86.1 percent were domestic, and 13.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raahe Region on average 1.8 nights (+0.19) and foreigners 4.7 nights (+0.32).
