Registered bed nights increased 148 percent
In April 2021, 1,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Raahe Region (+148.4 %), of which 1,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 260 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 111 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 870 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 148 percent from last year's April.
165 nights (+150.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,200 nights (+148.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 3,400 registered bed nights (+6.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,200 (+48.2 %) for foreigners in Raahe Region, in total 4,600 (+14.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 280 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.5 percent were domestic, and 6.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raahe Region on average 2.0 nights (-1.4) and foreigners 6.7 nights (-2.3).
