In March 2020, 2,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Raasepori Region (-44.8 %), of which 2,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 310 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 46 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 31 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 45 percent from last year's March.
1,300 nights (-49.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,200 nights (-38.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 9,700 registered bed nights (-11.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 780 (-47.2 %) for foreigners in Raasepori Region, in total 10,500 (-15.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay was 1.5 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 17 percent compared to earlier year. In Raasepori Region, length of stay in March was on average 1.5 nights and in Finland 2.3 nights (+14.6 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raasepori Region on average 1.4 nights (-10.7 %) and foreigners 2.1 nights (-48.8 %).
1,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 34 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.6 percent were domestic, and 8.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raasepori Region on average 1.4 nights (-0.25) and foreigners 2.1 nights (-2.0).
