Registered bed nights increased 25 percent

In May 2022, 5,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Raseborg (+24.6 %), of which 4,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 520 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 15 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 460 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 25 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (89 nights).

1,900 nights (-24.2 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,400 nights (+95.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 14,500 registered bed nights (+53.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,200 (+189.1 %) for foreigners in Raseborg, in total 15,700 (+59.4 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.3 percent

Total of 1.5 million registered bed nights (+82.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.2 million nights (+57.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 319,000 nights (+345.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Raseborg out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

3,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 30 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.4 percent were domestic, and 11.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raseborg on average 1.6 nights (-0.03) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-0.39).
