Bed nights



Travel key indicators: the darker the square the larger the value.

Dark squares in the middle (vertically) mean the main season is in the summer. Dark squares on the top and the bottom mean the main season is in the winter. Gradually darkening squares from left to right signify growth over the years.

It is important to notice that the largest values (darkest squares) are not necessarily during the same months between different stats as this might reveal interesting details about travel and accommodation trends.



1,500 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 1,500 bed nights were recorded in Raseborg (-42.6 %), of which 1,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 195 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 47 percent and foreign bed nights increased 44 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 43 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Sweden (30 nights).

680 nights (-39.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 850 nights (-45.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 6,200 bed nights (-10.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 530 (+27.8 %) for foreigners in Raseborg, in total 6,800 (-8.2 %) nights.

Total of 996,000 bed nights (-46.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 730,000 nights (-43.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 265,000 nights (-53.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Raseborg out of total bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,000 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 30 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 91.2 percent were domestic, and 8.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raseborg on average 1.4 nights (-0.38) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.03).
