Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased four percent

In May 2019, 7,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Raseborg (+3.9 %), of which 6,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 820 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 35 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased four percent from last year's May.

4,600 nights (+2.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,500 nights (+6.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 17,000 registered bed nights (+0.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (+5.4 %) for foreigners in Raseborg, in total 18,600 (+1.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.6 million registered bed nights (+6.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (+4.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 465,000 nights (+13.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Raseborg out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay was 1.7 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Raseborg, length of stay in May was on average 1.7 nights and in Finland 1.8 nights (+2.1 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raseborg on average 1.6 nights (-7.6 %) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-8.2 %).

4,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 18 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.0 percent were domestic, and 8.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Raseborg on average 1.6 nights (-0.24) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-0.14).
