Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased 33 percent
In March 2023, 1,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Ragunda (+33.3 %), of which 1,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 135 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased three percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 33 percent from last year's March.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Switzerland (30 nights).
530 rooms (-5.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 480 rooms (+169.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 2,600 registered bed nights (-1.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 400 (+24.1 %) for foreigners in Ragunda, in total 3,000 (+0.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 39 percent compared to earlier year. In Ragunda, length of stay in March was on average 2.2 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-6.3 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ragunda on average 2.2 nights (-27.9 %) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+2.2 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 118 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.9 percent were domestic, and 7.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ragunda on average 2.2 nights (-1.7) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+0.21).
