Registered bed nights increased 12 percent
In April 2021, 6,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Rättvik (+12.0 %), of which 6,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 145 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 70 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 12 percent from last year's April.
1,700 rooms (+71.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 210 rooms (-55.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 26,000 registered bed nights (-15.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 850 (-81.6 %) for foreigners in Rättvik, in total 26,900 (-24.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
