7,900 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 7,900 bed nights were recorded in Rättvik (-16.2 %), of which 6,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 23 percent and foreign bed nights increased 51 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 16 percent from last year's March.

2,800 rooms (-21.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 620 rooms (+21.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 25,700 bed nights (-7.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,200 (+53.7 %) for foreigners in Rättvik, in total 29,900 (-2.3 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Rättvik out of total bed nights was 0.3 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

2,100 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 34 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 95.7 percent were domestic, and 4.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rättvik on average 3.2 nights (+0.44) and foreigners 14 nights (+9.5).
