7,400 registered bed nights

In March 2021, 7,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Rättvik (-6.7 %), of which 7,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 290 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 77 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased seven percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Italy (60 nights).

1,600 rooms (-8.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 250 rooms (-37.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 20,000 registered bed nights (-22.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 710 (-82.9 %) for foreigners in Rättvik, in total 20,700 (-30.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.9 million registered bed nights (+2.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (+11.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (-46.3 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 14 percent compared to earlier year. In Rättvik, length of stay in March was on average 5.3 nights and in Sweden 3.2 nights (+21.8 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rättvik on average 5.3 nights (+43.1 %) and foreigners 5.5 nights (-40.2 %).
