Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 46 percent

In April 2022, 9,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Rättvik (+45.9 %), of which 8,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 360 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 44 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 145 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 46 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (127 nights).

2,100 rooms (+148.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 240 rooms (+170.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 33,800 registered bed nights (+30.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,400 (+300.4 %) for foreigners in Rättvik, in total 37,200 (+38.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.2 million registered bed nights (+64.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+46.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 791,000 nights (+260.6 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 32 percent compared to earlier year. In Rättvik, length of stay in April was on average 5.5 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-23.8 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rättvik on average 5.5 nights (-16.4 %) and foreigners 5.4 nights (+60.7 %).
