Registered bed nights increased 94 percent
In May 2022, 23,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Rauha-Ukonniemi (+93.6 %), of which 22,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 610 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 91 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 370 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 94 percent from last year's May.
18,500 nights (+65.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 4,700 nights (+472.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 115,000 registered bed nights (+78.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,700 (+200.5 %) for foreigners in Rauha-Ukonniemi, in total 117,000 (+79.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 119 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.6 percent were domestic, and 2.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rauha-Ukonniemi on average 2.2 nights (-0.29) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-0.72).
