Registered bed nights increased 93 percent (May)
In May 2021, 9,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Rauma Region (+93.0 %), of which 5,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 104 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 74 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 93 percent from last year's May.
3,500 nights (+253.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5,500 nights (+49.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 15,300 registered bed nights (+14.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,100 (+14.6 %) for foreigners in Rauma Region, in total 21,300 (+14.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 210 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 73.4 percent were domestic, and 26.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rauma Region on average 1.8 nights (-0.35) and foreigners 2.6 nights (-17).
