Rauma Region: Tourism in a nutshell
2,600 registered bed nights (March)
In March 2021, 2,600 bed nights were recorded in Rauma Region (-9.4 %), of which 2,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 560 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased less than one percent and foreign bed nights decreased 33 percent. In total, bed nights decreased nine percent from last year's March.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (153 nights).
510 nights (+19.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,100 nights (-14.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 6,400 bed nights (-32.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (-48.8 %) for foreigners in Rauma Region, in total 8,000 (-36.6 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 17 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 92.4 percent were domestic, and 7.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rauma Region on average 1.9 nights (+0.19) and foreigners 6.0 nights (+2.2).
