Registered bed nights increased 124 percent (March)
In March 2022, 5,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Rauma Region (+123.6 %), of which 4,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 126 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 114 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 124 percent from last year's March.
1,600 nights (+206.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 4,300 nights (+103.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 10,100 registered bed nights (+57.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,200 (+37.1 %) for foreigners in Rauma Region, in total 12,300 (+53.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 176 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 82.1 percent were domestic, and 17.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rauma Region on average 1.7 nights (-0.15) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-4.0).
