Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased 40 percent
In November 2019, 10,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Rauma Region (+39.6 %), of which 3,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 26 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 220 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 40 percent from last year's November.
1,200 nights (-34.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 8,800 nights (+65.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and November, 71,100 registered bed nights (-3.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 28,600 (+18.3 %) for foreigners in Rauma Region, in total 99,700 (+2.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay increased 20 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 20 percent compared to earlier year. In Rauma Region, length of stay in November was on average 2.2 nights and in Finland 1.7 nights (-0.4 %).
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rauma Region on average 1.4 nights (-0.4 %) and foreigners 3.7 nights (+14.2 %).
4,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 63.6 percent were domestic, and 36.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rauma Region on average 1.4 nights (-0.25) and foreigners 3.7 nights (+0.71).
