In January 2021, 2,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Rauma Region (-54.1 %), of which 2,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 340 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 49 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 72 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 54 percent from last year's January.
470 nights (-58.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,900 nights (-53.0 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay increased 15 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 15 percent compared to earlier year. In Rauma Region, length of stay in January was on average 1.9 nights and in Finland 2.2 nights (+12.1 %).
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rauma Region on average 1.7 nights and foreigners 4.2 nights .
1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 60 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.7 percent were domestic, and 6.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rauma Region on average 1.7 nights (+0.21) and foreigners 4.2 nights (+1.9).
