Registered bed nights increased 40 percent

In February 2022, 3,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Ringerike (+39.6 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 340 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 30 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 550 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 40 percent from last year's February.

Between January and February, 6,200 registered bed nights (+38.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 510 (+300.0 %) for foreigners in Ringerike, in total 6,700 (+45.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.8 million registered bed nights (+92.3 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.3 million nights (+56.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 466,000 nights (+432.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ringerike out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.
