Registered bed nights increased 61 percent

In November 2021, 151,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Rogaland (+60.8 %), of which 136,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 14,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 83 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 25 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 61 percent from last year's November.

54,100 nights (+107.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 72,900 nights (+31.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 1.5 million registered bed nights (+16.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 284,000 (+21.2 %) for foreigners in Rogaland, in total 1.8 million (+17.5 %) registered nights.

Market share 7.5 percent

Total of 2.0 million registered bed nights (+132.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.8 million nights (+133.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 247,000 nights (+123.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Rogaland out of total registered bed nights was 7.5 % (-3.4 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 7.8 % and foreign bed nights 5.9 %.

81,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 105 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.2 percent were domestic, and 8.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rogaland on average 1.8 nights (-0.31) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-1.7).

Registered accommodation sales in November were 115.0 million crowns (+52.4 million).

Registered January-November sales were 949.2 million crowns and they increased 180.0 million euro from the previous year.
