93,700 registered bed nights

In November 2020, 93,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Rogaland (-44.6 %), of which 74,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 19,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 47 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 32 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 45 percent from last year's November.

26,100 nights (-48.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 55,500 nights (-34.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 1.3 million registered bed nights (-13.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 234,000 (-59.8 %) for foreigners in Rogaland, in total 1.5 million (-26.3 %) registered nights.

Market share 10.9 percent

Total of 861,000 registered bed nights (-56.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 751,000 nights (-54.4 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 111,000 nights (-67.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Rogaland out of total registered bed nights was 10.9 % (+2.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 9.9 % and foreign bed nights 17.6 %.

Length of stay increased 22 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 22 percent compared to earlier year. In Rogaland, length of stay in November was on average 2.3 nights and in Norway 2.4 nights (+37.9 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rogaland on average 2.1 nights (+6.1 %) and foreigners 3.8 nights (+21.9 %).

39,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 55 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.1 percent were domestic, and 12.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Rogaland on average 2.1 nights (+0.32) and foreigners 3.8 nights (+1.0).
