Romerike: Tourism in a nutshell

Registered bed nights increased 86 percent
In August 2022, 147,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Romerike (+86.2 %), of which 116,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 31,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 72 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 174 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 86 percent from last year's August.
47,800 nights (+86.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 74,400 nights (+119.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 719,000 registered bed nights (+173.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 165,000 (+205.7 %) for foreigners in Romerike, in total 884,000 (+179.0 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 115 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 75.5 percent were domestic, and 24.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Romerike on average 1.5 nights (-0.21) and foreigners 1.2 nights (-0.15).
