29,000 registered bed nights

In February 2021, 29,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Romerike (-72.9 %), of which 22,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 75 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 61 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 73 percent from last year's February.

6,600 nights (-73.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 13,800 nights (-73.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 61,800 registered bed nights (-69.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 12,900 (-60.5 %) for foreigners in Romerike, in total 74,800 (-68.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 923,000 registered bed nights (-58.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 836,000 nights (-46.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 87,600 nights (-86.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Romerike out of total registered bed nights was 3.1 % (-1.7 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 2.7 % and foreign bed nights 7.2 %.

Length of stay increased 93 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 93 percent compared to earlier year. In Romerike, length of stay in February was on average 2.4 nights and in Norway 2.6 nights (+31.2 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Romerike on average 2.2 nights (+120.9 %) and foreigners 3.2 nights (+141.9 %).

12,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 86 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 84.0 percent were domestic, and 16.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Romerike on average 2.2 nights (+0.98) and foreigners 3.2 nights (+2.0).
