Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 230 percent

In November 2021, 126,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Romerike (+226.8 %), of which 114,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 11,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 290 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 28 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 230 percent from last year's November.

24,600 nights (+56.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 45,600 nights (+189.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 566,000 registered bed nights (+2.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 92,200 (+11.6 %) for foreigners in Romerike, in total 658,000 (+3.9 %) registered nights.

Market share 6.3 percent

Total of 2.0 million registered bed nights (+132.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.8 million nights (+133.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 247,000 nights (+123.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Romerike out of total registered bed nights was 6.3 % (+1.8 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 6.5 % and foreign bed nights 4.7 %.

Length of stay was 1.4 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 28 percent compared to earlier year. In Romerike, length of stay in November was on average 1.4 nights and in Norway 1.8 nights (-23.5 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Romerike on average 1.4 nights (+13.0 %) and foreigners 1.4 nights (+12.2 %).

90,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 350 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.8 percent were domestic, and 9.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Romerike on average 1.4 nights (-0.31) and foreigners 1.4 nights (-1.9).
