Registered bed nights increased 45 percent
In May 2022, 15,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Ronneby (+45.2 %), of which 13,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 45 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 47 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 45 percent from last year's May.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Switzerland (520 nights).
3,500 rooms (+120.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,600 rooms (+148.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 36,100 registered bed nights (+33.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,600 (+135.2 %) for foreigners in Ronneby, in total 41,700 (+41.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 54 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 86.8 percent were domestic, and 13.2 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ronneby on average 2.1 nights (+0.01) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-2.2).
