Registered bed nights increased 46 percent

In April 2021, 5,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Ronneby (+45.7 %), of which 5,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 290 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 46 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 38 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 46 percent from last year's April.

1,300 rooms (+106.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (+30.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 18,000 registered bed nights (-11.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 980 (-33.2 %) for foreigners in Ronneby, in total 19,000 (-13.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ronneby out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

3,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 90 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.3 percent were domestic, and 3.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ronneby on average 1.6 nights (-0.49) and foreigners 2.3 nights (-0.93).

The airport received a total of 690 passengers, which means air passenger arrivals increased 1,100 percent.

Of local passengers, 13.7 % arrived from abroad, thus the share of domestic passengers was 86.3 %.
