Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 23 percent

In May 2021, 10,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Ronneby (+23.1 %), of which 9,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 460 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 23 percent from last year's May.

1,200 rooms (+5.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 680 rooms (+0.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 27,000 registered bed nights (-5.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,400 (+39.3 %) for foreigners in Ronneby, in total 29,400 (-2.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+45.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ronneby out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.
