2,700 registered bed nights

In February 2021, 2,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Røros Region (-71.4 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 118 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 69 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 88 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 71 percent from last year's February.

1,100 nights (-83.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,100 nights (-31.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 4,400 registered bed nights (-69.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 350 (-70.9 %) for foreigners in Røros Region, in total 4,700 (-69.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 923,000 registered bed nights (-58.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 836,000 nights (-46.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 87,600 nights (-86.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Røros Region out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 37 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 37 percent compared to earlier year. In Røros Region, length of stay in February was on average 2.5 nights and in Norway 2.6 nights (+31.2 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Røros Region on average 2.5 nights (+38.1 %) and foreigners 2.6 nights (+54.2 %).

1,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 79 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.8 percent were domestic, and 4.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Røros Region on average 2.5 nights (+0.67) and foreigners 2.6 nights (+0.76).
