26,100 registered bed nights (July)
In July 2020, 26,100 bed nights were recorded in Saariselkä (-5.4 %), of which 25,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 880 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 38 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 91 percent. In total, bed nights decreased five percent from last year's July.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (320 nights).
23,200 nights (-3.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,000 nights (-20.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and July, 65,600 bed nights (-31.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 87,300 (-29.9 %) for foreigners in Saariselkä, in total 153,000 (-30.5 %) nights.
