Registered bed nights increased 78 percent

In April 2021, 1,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Säffle (+78.1 %), of which 1,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 210 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 61 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 960 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 78 percent from last year's April.

126 rooms (+55.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 730 rooms (+105.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 5,400 registered bed nights (-5.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 310 (-77.9 %) for foreigners in Säffle, in total 5,700 (-19.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Säffle out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

780 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 41 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.1 percent were domestic, and 4.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Säffle on average 2.3 nights (+0.37) and foreigners 5.6 nights (+1.6).
