4,300 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 4,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Säffle (-49.2 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 280 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 92 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 49 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (210 nights).

200 rooms (-70.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 500 rooms (-14.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 12,100 registered bed nights (-18.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,800 (-77.1 %) for foreigners in Säffle, in total 13,800 (-38.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Säffle out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 56 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.4 percent were domestic, and 5.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Säffle on average 2.3 nights (-0.01) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+1.0).
