Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 10 percent

In January 2019, 1,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Sala (+10.1 %), of which 1,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 140 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 12 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased eight percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 10 percent from last year's January.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (21 nights).

410 rooms (+42.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 770 rooms (+40.6 %) by business visitors.

The market share of Sala out of total registered bed nights was 0.0 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay was 1.6 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased three percent compared to earlier year. In Sala, length of stay in January was on average 1.6 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-0.1 %).
