9,900 bed nights in paid accommodation (May)
Total of 9,900 bed nights (+13.5 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Salo in May 2022. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 63 % and non-registered 37 %.
Between January and May, the number of paid bed nights was 33,200 (+33.6 %). Share of registered was 61 % and non-registered 39 %.

Registered bed nights increased 26 percent (May)
In May 2022, 6,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Salo (+26.1 %), of which 5,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 330 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 112 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 26 percent from last year's May.
4,200 nights (+50.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,000 nights (-6.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 19,000 registered bed nights (+84.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,300 (+44.7 %) for foreigners in Salo, in total 20,300 (+81.6 %) registered nights.
